Photographer researcher for 38 years, Lina Faria, has a degree in Social Communication at the Federal University of Parana. Her focus, man/space, has earned her awards as Prize Marc Ferrez, ’97, or Intimacy Identity, selected for the New Project Crossings, London Contemporary Photographers of Brazil in 1996. Minister workshops, such as Curitiba 24 Hours, next to Nair Benedicto, or Intimacy Identity, Winter Festival, Ouro Preto. She is entry of the Encyclopedia Itaú Cultural. Selected in the first notice of Intangible Heritage Cultural Foundation of Curitiba with the project Street Eye, 2005. Since then, she starts to photograph the daily life of the city, which put on facebook. She also develops survey of Traditional Peoples: healers, Candomblé, faxinalenses and artisanal fishermen.
