Octavio Camargo is a theater director engaged in interdisciplinary actions related to art and activism. He created the Cia Iliadahomero Theatre in 1999 in the city of Curitiba in order to fully enact the 24 corners of Homer’s Iliad. With a scenario that has the light as the central scenic element, performed by award-winning illuminator Beto Bruel the Company prepared for the Biennial a special marathon of presentations with several Iliads at Londrina’s Theatre, at Curitiba Memorial. It will be staged throughout the different Iliads that will culminate in a night, exclusive and performative presentation in the public space in São Francisco Street, the Iliad 22, with the participation of actress Patricia Reis Braga.
