Ole Giæver studied film at the Nordland Art and Film College from 1999 to 2001 before moving on to the Konstfack Art Academy in Stockholm, where he graduated with a Bachelor in Fine Arts in 2005. In 2007, his short film Tommy was nominated for best short film at the European Film Awards. Giæver also received a nomination for best screenplay at the Norwegian National Film Award for his short film Summers Past. In 2011, he made his feature film directorial debut with The Mountain which was selected for the Panorama Section at the Berlin International Film Festival. Marte Vold is director and cinematopgrapher, born in 1978 in Tromsø, Norway, graduated from The Norwegian Film School in Lillehammer in 2008. Rooted in the dicipline of visual art as well as traditional filmmaking, Vold’s work as a director has been screened in both galleries and film venues. In 2012, the first four dialogues in the series Small Episodes was screened at The Norwegian Short Film Festival in Grimstad.
