Born in Goiânia in 1980, Tiago Vieira moved to São Paulo when he was 15 years old to study Graphic Arts. In 2001, he started his major in Social Communication at the Catholic University of Brasília. In 2006, he started to work with audiovisual production as Art and Production assistant, then eventually as Director Assistant. He worked on independent fiction, advertising and TV. In 2008, we worked as screenwriter for the TV program Rumos da Música, produced by Itaú Cultural and aired on TV Cultura. In 2010, he produced the short fiction film Dia Vinte Quatro, in which he worked as director, screenwriter, producer, photographer, editor and actor. Then, he produced Vamos continuar e permanecer aqui and Cisternas nas Escolas, his first institutional documentary works.
