Alfredo Quiroz e Bernardo Puente

I was born 1969 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I am an artist and a psychologist from the Universidad Católica, Asunción. I attended 6 years of theology and philosophy at the San Jose Institute of the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina, Buenos Aires. In the year 2015, you will take the course “Contemporary Photography” in 2016, the “Liquid Photography” course, and the course “Art, Activism and Politics” at NODE / CENTER in Berlin Germany. In 2015, I obtained the first prize of the “Invernadero: art, politics, experiment” convention of the Cultural Center of Spain (CCE) “Juan de Salazar”, in Asunción; That same year, I was selected and participant of the collective of buildings of Visual Arts of the Embassy of Germany Assunção, Paraguay.

I was born in 1974 in Asunción, Paraguay. Soybean hematologist, Received at the Universidad Católica, Paraguay, postgraduate professor of specialization in Clinical Biochemistry, Hematological Area of ​​the Catholic University. In addition to the development of artistic projects linked to basic discipline with individual and collective exhibitions. In 2014 he won the first “Henri Matisse” Visual Arts Prize, organized by the French Embassy in Paraguay, Alianza Francesa and the “Gente de Arte” Association. In 2015, participate in the call “INVERNADERO: ARTE, POLÍTICA, EXPERIMENTO” of the Cultural Center of Spain “Juan de Salazar”, in Asunción, with the project titled “Mitochondrial DNA”, obtaining the first place of this call. A representative of Paraguay was recently invited to the Bienal del Sur: Peoples en Resistencia, in the Room of the Museum of Fine Arts of Caracas Venezuela, with the work EL CENTO EIGHT. At the moment I live and work in Asunción Paraguay.
