Gabriel Alarcon

Gabriel Alarcon was born in Jujuy – Argentina, currently residing in Córdoba where he studied Sculpture at the Faculty of Arts of UNC. In 2016 he received an honorable mention at Salón Ciudad Córdoba, mention in Humus – specific site and special mention of the jury in the Provincial Hall of Jujuy in the category of Painting. He participated in the Córdoba Cultural Center in “Artists at the Parrilla” and “artists in stained glass”, winner of the contest Political poetic appropriation of ballot boxes UNC 2015. Selected at Patio Olmos Sculpture Hall (2015), participated in Requiem for Cabaret Voltaire 3rd and 4th edition edition (Bataclana space). FNA scholarship holder for a workshop in textile art, dictated by Chiachio & Giannone, won the award for best work category under 35 at NOA’s Regional Painting Exhibition, Santiago del Estero (2014).
