Marina Ramos

Marina Ramos (Curitiba, 1994) holds a bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts from the Federal University of Paraná and currently holds a degree in Visual Arts from the same institution. She is a post-graduate student in Cultural Anthropology at PUCPR, she worked as a scholarship holder at the Museum of Archeology and Ethnology at UFPR and is a descendant of the Quechua ethnic group – factors that influenced her to deal with her poetics about the indigenous issue and its relation to hybridization and cultural translation . He was a resident artist at SOMA Galeria between 2016 and 2017, where he presented his first individual exhibition Ayllunakuy: to recognize kinship and where he works together with the Center of Curatorship of the institution. She was co-curator of the exhibition “Thing with Thing is Another Thing: Arney 90” by the artist Antonio Arney at the UFPR Art Museum and currently participates as an artist in the Visual Arts Development and Experimentation Project at Sesc Paço da Liberdade.
