Meng Luding, born in 1962 in Baoding City, Hebei Province, has his original family hometown in Tongzhou, Beijing, China. In 1983, he graduated from the Middle School Affiliated to China Academy of Fine Art, Beijing, China. In 1987, he graduated and earned bachelor’s degree from Oil Painting Department, Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) and started to lecture at the CAFA Painting Studio No.4. In 1990, he studied in National Academy of Fine Arts, Karlsruhe, Germany. Now he is a professor at the CAFA Painting Studio No.5.
