Stevens Vaughn

Stevens Vaughn is a ritualistic water painter who uses pigments to document the language of water. His exhibitions are influenced by his study and training in the philosophy of the how important imperfection is to the state of perfection in Japan and China. His work has been presented during the 56th Biennale di Venezia in Italy and the Bienal del Fin Del Mundo in Argentina and Chile. His most recent solo exhibitions include Como tinte que fluye, Pabellón de las Bellas Artes, Buenos Aires 2017; The Rebirth of Color, National Gallery, Sofia 2016. He has participated in many group shows, including Rolling Snowball/9, Djúpivogur, Iceland 2017; Fusion – The International Exhibition of Contemporary Ceramic Art, Art Museum of Nanjing University of the Arts 2017.
