Zhou Lan

Zhou Lan graduated from Central Academy of Arts and Crafts in 1994 with a BA degree, and got her MA (Merit) from University of the Arts London. Currently an associate professor, postgraduate supervisor and vice director of the dean’s office at Central Academy of Fine Arts, Zhou Lan has been visual system design direcor for many exhibitions and academic activities. She got the Best Art Work Award from KOSES International Invitation Exhibition at the Euro Design Center in Korea in 2014. Her works have been exhibited and collected both at home and abroad. The World Is Extremely Small helped her win the 2014 China National Arts Fund’s Grants for Photography Talents. Her publications include the World Is Extremely Small, Black and White Photography, and Look at London through Windows. She has also published a dozen academic papers including Thought Analysis of Images and “The Third Result” of Photography.
