Dannys Montes de Oca

Curator, art critic, lecturer, contemporary art researcher and Cuban writer with several published books on art. She has participated as a judge in visual arts events.  Since 2006 she has been Director General and curator of Havana Biennial and director of  Wilfredo Lam Contemporary Art Center in Havana, Cuba. She is chief coordinator of the Biennial’s theoretical event. She is curator of Asuncion Biennial, Paraguay. She has a degree on Arts and Linguistics from the University of Havana, Cuba. She has won several awards, such as Guy Peréz Cisneros Art Critic Award (Essay Section) from National Council of Art, Havana, Cuba.
