LEONOR AMARANTE- Lives and works in São Paulo.

Born in Tupã (SP) in 1945. Visual Communication: FAAP, SP (1968/1971) and Journalism: Faculdade Cásper Líbero, SP (1974/1977). Author of the books The Biennials of São Paulo (1987), Kcho (1996) and Ver E Viver Arte (2015). Guest curator, Curitiba Biennial (2015). Co-curator general, 5th Biennial of Curitiba, (2009). Curator General, 1st Biennial of the End of the World, Ushuaia, Argentina (2007). Assistant curator of the 2nd and 3rd editions of the Mercosul Biennial, POA (1999/2001). Editor of the magazines ARTE! Brasileiros (2010/2015), where today it is the Editorial Committee; Our America, from the Memorial of Latin America (1995/2015). Assistant publisher of Culture, Veja (1990/1991), collaborator of the World Paper, Boston, USA (1983/1985), Reporter, Estado de S. Paulo (1973/1987) ABCA Award for ARTE! Brazilians (2012) and Cuba Ministry of Culture Award (2009), is now part of the Editorial Committee of the magazine Arte Brasileiros and the Board of the Open Art Miami, international online art competition.
