Stephanie Dahn Batista

Stephanie Dahn Batista (1973, Hannover / Germany) holds a Master’s degree in History of Art, Cultural Sciences and Political Science from Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität, Münster (2000) and PhD in History from the Federal University of Paraná (2011). Since 2008 she is a professor of Art History at the Federal University of Paraná in the Department of Arts. He has experience in the area of ​​visual arts acting mainly in the following subjects: art history, art criticism, visual arts, body and genre. Participates in the Cnpq Research Groups “Visual Arts: Theory, Education and Poetics”, “Nucleus of Gender Studies” and “NAVIS – Núcleo de Artes Visuais”. She curated at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Paraná, curatorial coordinator of the Young Curators of the International Biennial of Curitiba (2013) and curator of the Circuit University of the International Biennial of Curitiba (2013-2017). He produced several critical texts about artists in Curitiba.
