Tulio de Sagastizabal

He was born in 1948, in Posadas, Misiones, Argentina.
He studied in the workshops of Alejandro Vainstein, Roberto Páez and L. F. Noé. Together with G. Kuitca in 1991/92. He taught in programs of the E. De La Cárcova High School, the Antorchas Foundation, the TRAMA project, the CC Haroldo Conti. Curator in samples in the Park of Spain of Rosario, the Braque Prize in the MUNTREF, the National Fund of the Arts. He has participated as an artist in: Southern Identity, Smithsonian Institution, Washington DC; L ‘Abstraction et ses territoires, Le 19, Montbélliard; I Mercosur Biennial; IV Biennial of Havana. Acknowledgments: First Prize, National Painting Exhibition; First Prize, Central Bank of the Argentine Republic; Fundación Konex Award; Award for Teaching Action, AA of Art Critics; Fundación Antorchas Scholarship. Lives and works in Buenos Aires.
